How do my donations help?
In addition to normal operating cost of a sports league, blind soccer requires some specialized equipment like eyeshades, sound soccer balls, head guards, soccer goals and rebound panels.
We also like to keep the cost barrier for our athletes as low as possible so we like to help them with transportaion, child care or guide dog sitting while practicing and playing, this is all in addition to the normal needs like uniforms and facility fees.
One of the biggest, and most expensive, pieces of specialized equipment are Blind Soccer Rebound Panels. These panels act as side boards about 3 feet high which allow us to confine the field of play and increase safety for our players compared to traditional indoor soccer boards.
